Where you decide to plead not guilty there will normally be two hearings in the case.
There are two options:
Representation by Nicholas Diable
Fixed fee of £1,500 for the first hearing
Fixed fee of between £3,000 to £5,000 for the trial.
Representation by a barrister
Fixed fee of £995 for the first hearing
Fixed fee of between £2,500 to £4,500 for the trial.
These fees include:
Representation at the first hearing and final hearing in the case;
Obtaining disclosure from the prosecution;
Taking a full statement of events from you at court;
Considering evidence;
Providing advice on likely sentence;
Advising and assistance with mitigation documentation;
Instructing Counsel (if applicable);
Instructing an expert witness;
Reviewing and serving expert evidence;
Taking statements from any witnesses;
Reviewing and serving witness evidence;
Taking a formal statement of events from you; and
Advice and assistance with mitigation documentation.
Please note that there will be additional fee of £995 for each additional court hearing that we are required to attend on your behalf. Although, where possible we will deal with additional hearings by correspondence. Most cases do not have additional hearings.
